That tied the two countries at 10-under-par 566.
The first tiebreaker is final-round, non-counting score, but both countries were equal with 75s. The next tiebreaker was non-counting score from the third round and South Africa's Simon had a 73 to Andersson's 75. The two best scores from the team count to the country's team score.
Colombia moved up eight places on Saturday with an eight-under 136, the lowest final-round team total in championship history. They finished third at nine- under-par 567.
Chonburi, Thailand (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Hee-Won Han posted her third consecutive round in the 60s on Sunday to run away with the Honda LPGA Thailand, her sixth career victory and second of the season. Han shot a five-under 67 in the final round, completing the first-ever LPGA event in Thailand at 14-under-par 202 for a five-shot victory over Diana D'Alessio.
It was a surprisingly commanding win for Han, who trailed second-round leader Nicole Castrale by two shots overnight. The first eight holes on Sunday decided everything, with Han collecting five birdies during that stretch while Castrale stumbled to three bogeys.
The trio ended one shot behind D'Alessio, who had a two-under 70 to take solo second place at nine-under-par 207. D'Alessio got off to a poor start, but had three birdies on her back nine.
Sunday, she posted her first birdie at the second hole, then four straight from the fourth. Han three-putted for bogey on the ninth and made the turn at 13-under.
On the back nine, Han got as low as 15-under after birdies at the 11th and 14th. Cruising at that point, she then finished her round bogey-birdie-bogey.
"I kept trying to make birdies on the back nine," said Han. "I got bogeys on 16 and 18, but I played pretty comfortable when I knew I was up by five or six shots."
Young Kim (69) and Sherri Turner (71) were one shot further back at 210.
"I've had a somewhat average summer, but I felt the last few weeks that the game was starting to come together again," stated Fasth. "I'm having a bit more fun and relaxing a bit more. I played good this week. It was fantastic to win again."
Garcia, the 2004 champion, finished second for the second straight year. Garcia closed with a 68 of his own to end at two-under-par 278.
Gary Murphy, who entered the week holding onto the last spot to keep his tour card for next year, struggled badly on Sunday. Murphy, who shared the third- round lead with Fasth, closed with a six-over 76 that dropped him into a tie for 13th. However, he easily retained his tour card for next season, moving to 104th on the Order of Merit.

The 2009 AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds have been released and Denver Broncos' running back Knowshon Moreno has been made the opening favorite.
Moreno was selected in the first round of April's NFL draft and is expected to carry the rushing load for the Broncos this season. And with Jay Cutler now in Chicago, Moreno might be expected to be Denver's entire offense.
Betting Lines from sports betting lines have made Moreno a 5/2 favorite to win this year's Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. Fellow running back Chris Beanie Wells (Arizona Cardinals) is right behind Moreno at 7/2, while Donald Brown (Indianapolis Colts) and receiver Michael Crabtree (San Francisco 49ers) are 5/1 to win. Quarterbacks Mark Sanchez (New York Jets) and Matthew Stafford (Detroit Lions) are 7/1 and 8/1, respectively.
A couple of players who present some value are Josh Freeman, Shonn Green and Darrius Heyward-Bey.
Freeman needs to beat out Byron Leftwich to become the starting quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but if he does, he has a lot or raw talent and could use the weapons around him (i.e. Kellen Winslow Jr. and Antonio Bryant) to be very successful in his first season.
Green enters a crowded backfield in New York, but considering both Thomas Jones and Leon Washington are unhappy about their contract situations and might holdout, the former Iowa product could become the Jets' primary back.
Everyone was shocked when Al Davis took Heyward-Bey with the eighth overall pick in April's draft, but the kid has a tremendous amount of talent and if quarterback JaMarcus Russell takes the next step this year, the former Maryland product could blossom. Plus, Heyward-Bey will be looking to prove the people wrong who said Oakland should have taken Michael Crabtree with the No. 8 pick.
And if you're looking for a deep sleeper, check out Pat White at 30/1. He enters the Miami Dolphins vaunted Wild Cat offense and could be a big time playmaker.
